Jul 21 B =B&W Black vultures These Black vultures were sitting high above a lake, watching and waiting for an easy fish dinner! Have a great Sunday everyone!
Jul 28 C= Cents 25 cents in North Carolina currency from the mid 1800's.
Aug 4 D= Dew A spider's web covered with dew was nicely backlit by the morning sun.
Aug 11 E = Eggshells I had a different E challenge photo lined up but decided to go with this while I was making breakfast this morning! Where are all of the daily photos??
Aug 18 F=Faucet My kitchen faucet as my contribution to the alphabet challenge.
Aug 25 G=Greenery I liked how this green plant had twisted around itself creating a column. The lit made the leaves look artificial!
Sept 1 H= Heels I love high heels and here is a small sample from my collection
Sept 8 I=Inches This was my first idea when it came time for the 'I' shot! A bit of focus stacking added a little more DOF to the macro shot. Thanks for viewing and commenting. Have a great Sunday!
Sept 15 J=Juice I love juice so its only fitting to post it for the Sunday alphabet challenge!
Sept 16 J= Jack This was an alternate J shot for yesterday that I decided not to go with. My boyfriend really liked it though so I thought I would post it today. A few inquired as to how I achieved the tilt with yesterday's juice shot. Both the camera and the juice were set up at an angle so all would appear level in the photo except the juice itself. Old school photography trick!
Sept 22 K=Knives For the sunday alphabet challenge, knives from my formal dinnerware.
Sept 29 L=Lightning For the Sunday alphabet challenge, a capture of illusive lightning! Excited to see the variety of "L" shots for today! Thanks for viewing and commenting!
Oct 7 M=Moon Sorry to have missed out on the M day fun yesterday... busy with life etc etc! Here is my contribution to M day, better late than never!
Oct 13 N=Neptune, the Roman god of freshwater and the sea When I saw this statue at Virginia beach, I immediately knew how I wanted to post process it! Didn't occur to me at the time it would be my N day shot!
Oct 20 O=Ocean A grand view of the ocean with a passing barge
Nov 3 Q=Quartz I had no idea for today except "quarter!". Then I remembered I had a piece of decorative quartz rock, sitting on the bookshelf, begging to be photographed!
Nov 10 R=Roots Late upload today for the alphabet challenge. We were up and at 'em at 7am this morning trying to catch a shot of a bald eagle! Never got a clear shot of one though. Since I had no raptor bird for my R shot for today, had to hunt through the woods for an alternate!
Nov 17 S=Soybeans Soybeans, ready for harvesting!
Nov 24 T=Tree trunk For today's alphabet challenge, I decided to go with an unconventional tree shot. I liked the idea of just showing the trunk, and its by product of fallen leaves.
U=Underwater road Late upload for today and late for U day also!! Seagulls often stand on the reminants of an abandoned road that lies at the bottom of Jordan lake. When this man made lake was filled, laziness prevailed and the old road was buried beneath the waters. We see it from time to time partially exposed as it is here but sometime fully exposed when the lake levels are far below normal. Weve stood where the seagulls are many times!
Dec 8 V=Vulture Really late upload today.. out of town all weekend. Anyway my contribution to V day challenge is a couple of black vultures lurking roadside!
Dec 15 W=Water, waves and sun rays We were having breakfast when I noticed the sun lit rim along the ocean. Then rays appeared in the sky! It was a magical moment!
