Milk & Cereal

This dairy cow just seemed to know to move in front of the grain bin when i pulled out my camera!! Maybe because this is next to the Fearrington house restaurant, NC's most famous restaurant, which has beem featured in many fine dining magazines. I guess the cows are used to the paparazzi! Best viewed in X2 and above.

Fire in the hole!

These are shells that were used on the USS North Carolina during World War II.The battleship is now moored across the river from downtown Wilmington, North Carolina.

Abandoned castle

It was very chilly on the beach Sunday morning after the Thanksgiving holiday. Practically no one on the beach. A sand castle had been abandoned due to the chill in the air! Best viewed in X3

Not sure if this was an eagle dispute or mating ritual but it was very interesting to watch! We were actually traveling to the beach on the interstate when my boyfriend(who was driving!) saw them tumbling in mid air. I didnt have time to switch to a longer lens so here they are at 200mm with a 50% crop.Nat Geo will never hire me at this rate, lol! Best viewed in larger sizes...
