April blossoms

Its spring again and spring flowers are abundant in NC! These are from my Bradford pear tree, one of the first trees to flower in the spring. Last month everything was white with flowering dogwoods and pear trees.This month everything will be yellow from the pollen!

The old mill

We discovered this old mill one day after a rain shower, which seem to saturate the colors..From the archives..
Still sick with a cold but slowly making my way back to the land of the living! We have had beautiful warm weather here and I have been unable to enjoy any of it!

Sunrise

This was taken back at the beginning of Feb during our stay in Myrtle beach. On this particular morning I was lucky enough to find clouds in the morning sky! Nothing is as magnificent as a sunrise over the ocean!

I read an interesting article in the April issue of Outdoor Photographer magazine on focus stacking, so I thought I would give it a try. This was my very 1st attempt which is a result of 4 images at different focal points. I think just fell in I love with my macro lens all over again! BTW, this is one of my bracelets I wear most often..
